The focus of our research is to examine changes in gene expression in breast cancer. This involves looking both at changes in the abundance and activity of specific transcription factors and also, more globally, at overall patterns of gene expression using microarray analysis. Particular areas of interest are the AP-2 family of transcription factors and the phenomenon of tamoxifen resistance.
